IEOM (Industrial Engineering and Operations Management) Society International is a Nonprofit Professional Organization which has a mission to foster critical thinking, innovation, and knowledge dissemination of Industrial Engineering (IE) and Operations Management (OM) among diversified people globally, especially in emerging countries. IEOM society activities include IEOM Professional and Student Chapters all over the world, annual conferences in USA, EU, Asia, Africa and South America, IEOM Journal – IJIEOM, Forums (Global Engineering Education Forum, Industry Solutions Forum, Women in Industry and Academia Forum), Certification (LSS, FMEA, GD&T, FTA), Awards and Fellows, Newsletters and IEOM Global Council. IEOM Sri Lanka student chapter of University of Peradeniya was established in August 2015. Since then it has been a dynamic group of young blood who kept the momentum towards seeking new knowledge and reshaping the future.
