Janappriya Jayawardana received his Bachelor’s in Science degree specialized in Production engineering with first-class honours from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, in 2020. Soon after graduation, he joined the Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering Department as a research assistant. He was awarded a scholarship for a split Ph.D. at the University of Peradeniya and RMIT University, Australia, in 2020. Currently, he is a lecturer(probationary) attached to the Dept. of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, University of Peradeniya. His research interests are on sustainable manufacturing, sustainable built environment, and logistics and supply chain management.
