Erandathi Ekanayake is attached to the Department of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering, University of Peradeniya. She graduated in 2015 from the University of Peradeniya with a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) in Statistics and Operations Research. She obtained her Master of Science in Industrial Mathematics from the same university in 2018. She completed her PhD in Environmental Engineering at The University of Melbourne, Australia, in 2023. At present, she serves as a Senior Lecturer in the department. Her teaching areas include Decision Sciences, Lean and Sustainable Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering. Her research interests include Mathematical Modelling and Optimization, Sustainability Analysis and Simulation Modelling.
