Chanaka Senanayake completed his bachelor’s degree at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya in 2005. He specialized in Production Engineering and graduated with first class honours. He worked at Brandix Lanka Pvt Ltd from 2005 to 2006 before joining the Department of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering in late 2006. He obtained his PhD from the National University of Singapore in 2012 and his research involved the development of analytical tools for evaluating the performance of manufacturing systems. His teaching and research interests include topics in production planning and control, and performance evaluation of manufacturing systems.
