We are excited to announce that Mr Thilanka Beddegama and Mr Pasan Gunasekara, representing the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Peradeniya, won FIRST place in the Inter-University Drone Competition ‘SKY of ICARUS 2023’. This event was organized by the IESL Young Members’ Section and the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka at the BMICH on 21-11-2023 as part of Techno 2023, and all state engineering universities participated in the event. A cash prize of Rs 100,000 and certificates were awarded to the winners at the Techno awards ceremony held at Marino Beach Hotel, Colombo on 21-11-2023 in the presence of a large gathering.
