The University of Peradeniya proudly received the prestigious Gold Award for the ‘University Stall with the Best Display of Engineering Projects’ at the Techno 2023, organized by the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL). The Faculty of Engineering showcased innovation, creativity, and excellence while emphasizing the theme of ‘Engineering for Regaining the Economy’ in the exhibition. The main objective of participating in the event was to showcase students’ skills and talents to the public, professionals, entrepreneurs, and school children.
We would like to express our gratitude to all the incredible individuals—students, academics, and non-academic staff- who supported us on this remarkable journey, from presenting innovative projects to setting up creative stalls. Our team demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm while interacting with visitors at the BMICH exhibition on October 20th, 21st, and 22nd, 2023. Witnessing the positive reactions, curiosity, and interest of attendees exploring our stall was a source of delight for us.
