Dr. Lashitha Rathnayake, a senior lecturer in Civil Engineering, obtained his first degree in Civil Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya, in 2009 with a first class honours. Subsequently, he moved to the Hokkaido University, Japan on a full Monbukagakusho Scholarship awarded by the Japanese Government for a Master and Doctoral Degrees. He earned his MEng and PhD degrees specialized in Environmental Engineering in 2012, and 2015, respectively.
