IABMAS Spaghetti Bridge Competition organized by The International Association for Bridge Maintenance and Safety – Sri Lanka Group in collaboration with the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka – Young Members Section (YMS) and Civil Engineering Society, University of Peradeniya.

Thanks to IABMAS who organized this competition, in collaboration with IESL YMS and CES of the University of Peradeniya, we were able to experience not just a competition, but various ways of bridge constructions as well. The competition was held at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya, with the presence of teams from six different universities island wide.
The awarding ceremony of the competition was held on the 18th December at the ICSBE Kandy Conference 2022. Winners were awarded with exclusive prizes and tokens of appreciation were presented to the Judge Panel. With the presence of members of IABMAS, representatives from IESL, CES of University of Peradeniya and the winning team members, the awarding ceremony appeared to be a grand function.
