Sri Lankan Team Elite won 3rd place in the 9th Annual IISE-SHS/FlexSim Student Simulation Competition.

The top 3 final teams were invited to attend the Healthcare Systems & Process Improvement Conference in Louisville, Kentucky, USA on February 15-17, 2023, to present their final solutions and compete for the cup.

The Team Elite, led by Dinusha Bandara, a Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering undergraduate, and supported by Isara Tillekeratne (Computer Engineering), Anjula Nayanajith, and Manidu Hewage (both Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering), was supervised by Dr. Subodha Dharmapriya, a senior lecturer in the Department of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering.
