Five PeraCom Teams Shine at SLIIT CODEFEST 2026!
The Faculty of Engineering is pleased to congratulate five teams of Computer Engineering undergraduates from the University of Peradeniya for their outstanding achievements at SLIIT CODEFEST 2026, securing top positions across four competition categories.
The teams demonstrated exceptional technical expertise, creativity, and innovation throughout the competition, achieving the following results:
- Team ResQ – 1st Place in Innov IoT for ResQ, a smart CPR training system.
- Team Nexus – 2nd Place in Innov IoT for RouteLK, a bus tracking and passenger assistance system.
- Team Nasakarar – 3rd Place in Algothon, an eight-hour programming challenge.
- Team Timesware – 2nd Runner-Up in NetCom.
- Team Horizon – 2nd Runner-Up in the Technopreneur Challenge for Horizon, a smart mirror designed to support the well-being of older adults.
These achievements reflect the dedication, technical competence, and innovative spirit of our undergraduate students. The Faculty extends its sincere congratulations to all five teams and wishes them continued success in their future academic and professional endeavors.
