This year, the Faculty of Engineering demonstrated strong representation across both evaluation categories within the university:

• Single-Year Category: 2 out of the 4 researchers selected from the University of Peradeniya are from the Faculty of Engineering.
• Career Category: 2 out of the 3 researchers selected from the University of Peradeniya are from the Faculty of Engineering.

• Prof. Janaka Ekanayake (Sub-field: Energy) – Ranked 1st in the Institute in the Career Category and 3rd in the Institute in the Single-Year Category.
• Prof. D. S. K. Karunasingha (Sub-field: Environmental Engineering) – Ranked 2nd in the Institute in the Single-Year Category.
• Dr. Himal Suraweera (Sub-field: Networking and Telecommunications) – Ranked 2nd in the Institute in the Career Category.
