The 3rd International Conference on Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Digital Trust (BuildSEC 2026) is held at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya, from 9 to 11 December 2026. It brings together researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers to discuss current challenges and practical solutions for protecting people, systems, and data in an increasingly connected world, with an emphasis on innovative technologies, user-focused studies, and collaborative research. IEEE Sri Lanka Section representatives support oversight of the technical programme and quality-assurance process. Submissions follow the IEEE two-column format and are reviewed double-blind through EDAS, and accepted papers and posters are published in the IEEE BuildSec proceedings and submitted for possible inclusion in IEEE Xplore. Earlier editions were hosted by IIT Patna, India (1-3 December 2025) and IIIT Delhi, India (19-20 December 2024).
