Seismic Performance of Building Model Competition 3.0

A team of talented civil engineering students from the University of Peradeniya participated in the Seismic Performance of Building Model Competition 3.0 (2025), held at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand.

The competition brought together bright minds from across the region to design and test innovative structural models for earthquake resilience. Our students — U.L.N.T.Bandara (E/19/044), D.H.Gallehewa (E/19/112),J.A.D.R.A.Jayakody,(E/19/150),R.M.T.D.Wijayarathne (E/19/442), and H.M.P.B. Ariyaratne (E/19/027) — demonstrated exceptional skill, teamwork, and creativity in developing their building model under real seismic testing conditions.
