The Central Electronic Workshop, located in the Faculty of Engineering premises of the University of Peradeniya has been in existence since early 1970’s. It offers free services to the entire university in repairing electrical & electronics equipment, testing, calibrating and at times fabricating and designing circuits to suite the need. These jobs are of wide spectrum; to name some, repairs to Bio-medical apparatus (belonging to Medical and Dental Faculties), TV monitors, Computers, Power Supplies, Motors and other electrical Items. The Electrical and Electronic Workshop offers free service to the university and attached institutions through out.
