URC Research Awards 2025

The Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya, is proud to announce that five of its academic staff members have received the University Research Council (URC) Research Awards 2025, presented at iPURSE 2026.

• Dr. A.J. Dammika

The URC Research Awards recognise outstanding research output within a single calendar year, in this case January to December 2025. Candidates are evaluated on their papers in indexed journals, patents, books and book chapters, conference publications, and competitive national and international research grants.

Having five awardees in a single year reflects the strength and consistency of the Department’s research culture. The Department congratulates all five on this well-earned recognition.
