Dr. S.K. Navaratnarajah Delivers the Eng. (Prof.) E.O.E. Pereira Memorial Oration 2025

Dr. S.K. Navaratnarajah, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Peradeniya, delivered the prestigious Eng. (Prof.) E.O.E. Pereira Memorial Oration 2025, organized by the Civil Engineering Sectional Committee of the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL). His keynote address, titled “Advancing Rail Track Technology: From Practice to Innovation,” explored the evolution of railway infrastructure through engineering advancements and research-led practices. The oration honoured the enduring legacy of Prof. E.O.E. Pereira, a pioneering figure in Sri Lanka’s engineering education. The event was held on 12th September 2025 at the Wimalasurendra Auditorium, IESL, Colombo.
