Awarde to the Prof. Raghu Chandrakeerthy Gold Medal for the Best Paper presented at the Society of Structural Engineer

The paper titled “Experimental and Numerical Investigation of Shear-Deficient Reinforced Concrete Beams Strengthened with Ultra-High Performance Fiber-Reinforced Concrete Jackets”, authored by Mr. Sandaru Wijesundara, Mr. Isuru Abeykoon, Dr. Sahan Bandara and Prof. Kushan Wijesundara, was awarded the Prof. Raghu Chandrakeerthy Gold Medal for the Best Paper presented at the Society of Structural Engineers Sri Lanka Annual Sessions 2025.

The formal presentation of the award and certificates took place on the 17th of December 2025 at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Colombo
