Biography:
I had my secondary Education from Trinity College, Kandy, Sri Lanka and entered the Faculty of Engineering University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 1991 for my undergraduate studies and obtained the B.Sc. (Hons) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering in 1995. I was awarded the M.Phil. degree in 2010 in Control Engineering under the supervision of Prof. K. S. Walgama from the Department of Engineering Mathematics, Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka.
I worked for Shin Nippon Air Conditioning technology and Ceylon Electricity Board as an Electrical Engineer in 1996 & 1998 respectively and joined the Department of Engineering Mathematics in 1998 as an Engineering Teaching Assistant.
Presently I am working as a Senior lecturer at the Department of Engineering Mathematics, Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka.
I am married to a Medical officer (Nirmala) and have a daughter (Shavindhya) and a son (Isuru).
