New Syllabus Program Requirements

Program Requirements


During the second, third, and fourth years of study, students following the specialization programme in the field of Chemical & Process Engineering earn 96 credits for BSc Eng degree or 108 credits credits for BSc Eng (Hons) degree in addition to the 36 credits earned during the general programme. Industrial training of 20-24 weeks worth of 6 credits is compulsory to claim the degree.

**A student has the freedom to choose his/her general electives from among the list of general elective courses recommended as above, and subjected to the condition that he/she is required to earn a minimum of 2 credits from each of the following three categories:

  • Management and Economics,
  • Arts and Humanities
  • Political and Social Sciences
