Suitable candidates are invited for an interview for the post of Lecturer (contract) at the Computing Center, Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka.

Candidates must be a Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) or (B. Sc. Eng.) graduate in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Networking, or ICT with a First Class or a Second Class (Upper Division) Honours degree recognized by the University Grants Commission.

Preference will be given to those who have

~ Experience in developing web based applications

~ Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)

~ Knowledge of Java and related frameworks such as Spring boot, Spring JPA and Hibernate etc.

~ Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB) and web servers (tomcat, jetty, wildfly)

~ Familiarity with UI/UX design.
