Intermediate-level Continuous Professional Development (CPD) program for MAS Holdings on 12th August 2024

Over the past few months, an Intermediate-level Continuous Professional Development (CPD) program was conducted for Industrial Engineering section of MAS Holdings, organized by the Engineering Design Centre.

The program was delivered in three batches on May 6, 7, and 14, 2024 (Batch 01), June 24, 25, and July 2, 2024 (Batch 02), and August 5 and 12, 2024 (Batch 03).

The Department of Engineering Management contributed to the program by delivering sessions on “Engineering Management.” The curriculum covered key topics including: Leadership, Teamwork, and Organization (Leadership, Teamwork, and communication), Project Management (Project Scheduling, Project Management techniques -which are CPM & PERT, Resource planning & allocation and Cost estimation, budgeting, monitoring & control) and Organizational Level Performance Management (Performance measures & KPIs and Performance measurement frameworks).

In addition to lectures, the program included practical lab sessions using MS Project software and workshops featuring role-plays relevant to the participants’ professional roles.
