The Department of Engineering Management recently organized a workshop on Research Methodology held on 24\/10\/2025 for the postgraduate students of the department. The session was coordinated by the PG coordinator of the department, Dr. Namal Bandaranayake, under the guidance of the Head of the Department Mr. Mahanama Dissanayake. The logistics for the session was managed by Ms. Hanisni Wijerathna and Ms. Dinusha Rathnayake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ms. Kamani Sylva from the Department of Engineering Management and Dr. Priyadarshani Premarathne from the Department of Sociology delivered two highly inspiring and hands-on sessions on research methodology. The sessions covered the importance of qualitative research for engineering professionals and how to adopt an appropriate research philosophy for such studies. As demonstrated by the active and enthusiastic participation of the students, the sessions were highly beneficial for the participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
