- Role/ Impact of Technology: Positive and negative impacts of technology on society; economy and environment; sustainable development.
- Technology Acquisition and Transfer: Technology Acquisition and Transfer:
- Technology and Innovation: Invention and innovation; innovation systems; selection of projects; managing technological assets.
- Evolution of Technology: Effective utilization of resources; project externalities; waste and environmental pollution exploitation.
- Green/ Appropriate Technology: Green economics; goals of green and appropriate technology.
- Project: Improvement of Sri Lankan technology for sustainable development.
