The Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Peradeniya successfully held the Industry – University Collaboration Day 2025 on 28th July 2025 at the Centre of Excellence for Water and Sanitation (CEWAS), Rathmalana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The primary objective of this event was to foster meaningful collaboration between academia and industry, while establishing a sustainable mechanism to strengthen and expand these partnerships. Over the years, our department has initiated several efforts toward this goal, and this event further highlighted and celebrated our ongoing contributions and achievements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event also served as a valuable platform for both undergraduate and postgraduate students to present their research in key disciplines such as Materials & Structural Engineering, Geotechnical & Transportation Engineering, and Water & Environmental Engineering. It offered students the opportunity to engage with a broader audience, including high-level policy makers, academics, industry professionals, and potential collaborators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
