From the past recent years, we have been closely working with High Voltage Laboratories of foreign universities such as Royal Institute of Technology, Chalmers University of Technology, Uppsala University, Sweden. The Manchester University, UK, and Queensland University, Australia. Further we have been working with local industries i.e. Ceylon Electricity Board and Lanka Transformers Pvt Ltd.
The services that we presently render to others include:
Engaging research activities directly related to the problems in Sri Lankan power system in collaboration with local industry like CEB.

HV insulator tests for CEB dry and wet flashover test, impulse test, mechanical breakdown test.
HV impulse test for Lanka transformer Ltd.
We are also engaged in the tests of HV cables, HV fuses and energy meter, circuit breakers etc.
